Thematic Tabloids
Choose from 21 thematic units presented in tabloid format, with options to customize your TIE subscription to fit your classroom needs. Individual tabloid titles are linked to state and national standards and accompanied by a 3-day newspaper delivery package that enables your students to complete newspaper activities related to each theme. Delivery schedules for the individual title selections are outlined as follows and on the TIE order form. If you wish to receive all 21 tabloids, select a 5-day, 3-day, or Tuesday Only delivery package.
"Everyday Kindness"
This tab’s focus is the kindness that’s not a “random act” but a regular, rewarding part of everyday life. It shows the whys and hows of behavior that makes life more pleasant for everyone. It covers civility, manners, protocol and the social mores of a multicultural society. Also stressed is volunteer work kids can do to make their world a kinder place.

Another collaborative effort with the Heard Museum takes a closer look at the 21 tribes of this great state. Learn where they come from, their history and their goals for the future.
